The functioning of the Haryana civil secretariat will soon be online and the system of centralised files will be introduced to improve transparency and efficiency in the working of the state government. This was disclosed by Deepak Bansal, technical director, National Informatics Centre (NIC), Haryana, here today. He said after the implementation of the centralised file system, the files would be online and it would help in checking delays. At present, about 2,000 files were being put up in the Haryana civil secretariat daily by officials. While under the present system, it takes about a week to clear the files, the new online system would make their disposal quick.
